The recalled products were distributed to Walmart stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled ground beef are urged not to consume it. The product should be thrown away or returned to the store for a full refund.

E. coli is a type of bacteria that can cause serious illness, including diarrhea, vomiting, and abdominal cramps. In some cases, E. coli can cause more severe illnesses, such as kidney failure and hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS).
